Hi, I’m Alana! Ex-corporate ladder climber turned marketing expert and entrepreneur! Despite always knowing that I wanted to work in marketing and business, my career has taken many twists and turns since then.
A huge wake call (keep on reading to find out what👇) catapulted my entrepreneurship life and helped me build a life on my own terms. Mudra Marketing was born from that aha moment.

From Corporate Hustler to Organic Marketing Mentor, And a Dream Born in the Tropics.
After years in demanding corporate roles as a marketing manager, climbing ladders that didn’t lead to joy, hitting rock bottom (AKA getting fired) and embracing holistic wellness through yin yoga (fun fact: I hated it at first!). I knew there was a better way. One that didn’t involve sacrificing mental health or authenticity for success.
Then all fall into place. I found a fulfilling e-commerce marketing role that taught me the value of personalized online presence and working smarter, not harder and reignited my passion.
In 2018, a solo trip to Costa Rica opened my eyes to the digital nomad life. Inspired by freedom and creativity, I took a one-way ticket to Guatemala in 2019 to build a business my way.
Fast forward to today…From Digital Nomad to House Owner
For five years, I worked from beachside cafés, enjoyed sunsets, and helped clients grow with SEO and organic marketing. No alarms, no Sunday scaries—just a life I created on my terms.
Then life happened—I broke my leg in Guatemala and had to come back home. I spent two years fixing up my house (all DIY, of course!) and thinking about what’s next.
That’s when I realized I wanted to help small businesses like yours grow with heart and purpose. Ready to get unstuck and make it happen?
