Why I Left Corporate to become an SEO Marketing Expert & Founder

I've been there—staring at the ceiling at 3 AM, knowing I was meant for more than soul-sucking meetings and pretending to be someone I wasn't.
After years of climbing corporate ladders that led nowhere and getting fired, I realized: the traditional marketing playbook wasn't written for people like us.
So I built my own.
I spent five years as a digital nomad, helping small businesses with SEO and organic strategy. No alarms. No corporate BS. Just work that felt aligned.
Then I broke my leg in Peru, flew home for surgery, and started helping friends build their wellness practices. That's when I noticed the pattern:
Talented, capable practitioners who didn't have the marketing foundations to get seen.
They wanted to DIY their business without handing it to an agency. They wanted clarity, not hustle. Visibility, not burnout.

After years in demanding corporate roles as a marketing manager, climbing ladders that didn’t lead to joy, hitting rock bottom (AKA getting fired) and embracing holistic wellness through yin yoga (fun fact: I hated it at first!). I knew there was a better way. One that didn’t involve sacrificing mental health or authenticity for success.
Then all fall into place. I found a fulfilling e-commerce marketing role that taught me the value of personalized online presence and working smarter, not harder and reignited my passion.
In 2018, a solo trip to Costa Rica opened my eyes to the digital nomad life. Inspired by freedom and creativity, I took a one-way ticket to Guatemala in 2019 to build a business my way.
Fast forward to today…From Digital Nomad to House Owner
For five years, I worked from beachside cafés, enjoyed sunsets, and helped clients grow with SEO and organic marketing. No alarms, no Sunday scaries—just a life I created on my terms.
Then life happened—I broke my leg in Peru and had to come back home for surgery. Landing on my parent’s couch, I decided I would buy my own “home base”.
After spending 2 years renovating my house and being in one place, I started helping friends with their passion-driven businesses in the health & wellness industry.
